What We Did
We completed a premium Indian sandstone patio installation for a homeowner in Churchdown, Gloucester, transforming the outdoor space into a stylish and practical area for relaxing and entertaining. The existing surface was carefully prepared before laying high-quality sandstone paving in a mixed-size pattern. Each slab was accurately levelled, securely bedded and neatly jointed to create a durable, low-maintenance finish. The completed patio provides a beautiful, natural appearance that complements the property while offering a long-lasting outdoor living space.
Our Process
We began by excavating and preparing the area, ensuring a solid foundation for the new patio. A compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base was installed, followed by a full wet mortar bed for maximum strength and stability. The Indian sandstone slabs were carefully laid in a mixed-size pattern, maintaining consistent spacing and levels throughout. Once the paving was in place, all joints were filled using a high-quality jointing compound, and the patio was thoroughly cleaned, leaving the customer with a stunning sandstone patio ready to enjoy for years to come.
